Foxglove - Digitalis
Stately Foxgloves produce enormous spires of large, dangling bells in soft pastel shades—cream, pink, and rose. Plants form a low rosette of coarse, hairy leaves in year one, then burst into flower in spring of year two before setting seed and dying back. This compact selection thrives in rich, moist soil. Allow plants to self-sow for future generations; seedlings can be easily transplanted while small. Caution: toxic if eaten.
