Silver Mound - Artemisia

Certainly one of the most popular foliage perennials, Silver Mound forms a low cushion of ferny, silvery-grey leaves that adds texture and contrast to any garden. In humid summers, give plants a hard clipping just as tiny silver ball-like flowers appear in mid to late June—they'll regrow quickly and stay attractive all season. Thrives in hot, dry sites and works beautifully as an edging plant or mixed into containers with other perennials. Divide every two to three years in spring or fall to maintain vigour and plant health.
