Supergreen Aluminum Sulphate helps acidify soil making growing conditions more desirable for acid-loving plants such as hydrangeas, azaleas, and blueberries etc. Changes the colour of pink hydrangeas to blue. WILL NOT CHANGE WHITE HYDRANGEAS TO PINK OR BLUE.
Test soil pH before use. If soil is alkaline (pH exceeds 7), use Aluminum Sulphate to lower the pH. Apply every 3-4 weeks as needed.
Potted Plants: dissolve 3 ml per 1 L of water (⅗ tsp / 1 qt) and drench soil with the mixture.
Gardens: apply early spring using 500 g per 10 m² (1 lb / 100 ft²) or 45 – 60 ml (3 – 4 tbsp) per medium sized individual plant. Work into the surface of the soil and water well.
Do not exceed label application rates. Lowering the pH below 5 may cause nutrient deficiencies and possible aluminum toxicity.
